Operations feature

From loading to delivery: the FuelBoss program in the field.

The fuel delivery program brought the partnership into the field, with aircraft loading and unloading forming the visible links between fuel supply and the communities it served.

These photographs show fuel loading alongside Pertamina equipment and unloading at a destination airfield. Together, they document the ground activity behind the aerial delivery mission.

For AeroProc, the program brought business development and operations together: building the relationships needed to launch the service and contributing to its successful operation.

Papua · A presidential visit

Then-President Joko Widodo climbs aboard the FuelBoss AT-802.

This photograph captures then-President Joko Widodo climbing the access steps toward the FuelBoss AT-802 cockpit, with Pelita Air markings visible on the aircraft.

The moment brings the aircraft at the center of the fuel delivery mission into focus: a working platform connecting fuel supplies with communities beyond the main distribution network.

Aviation supporting BBM Satu Harga

On 18 October 2016, Joko Widodo launched the BBM Satu Harga, or One Price Fuel, policy at Nop Goliat Dekai Airport in Yahukimo, Papua. He also inspected an Air Tractor AT-802 during the visit. The initiative sought more equitable fuel prices for communities in Papua and West Papua. Read the Cabinet Secretariat’s account.

The Cabinet Secretariat reported that Air Tractor aircraft would help transport fuel to remote areas, with operations managed by PT. Pelita Air Service, a Pertamina subsidiary. That operating role connected the aircraft to the wider fuel distribution effort. Read the official report on fuel transport.

Seen alongside the loading and unloading photographs in this article, the presidential visit adds a national-policy perspective to the operational story. Fuel access depended on more than an aircraft: it also required coordination between the supplier, aircraft operator and teams receiving the fuel on the ground.
